  1. Cold temperatures, Winter hiking can be much colder than hiking at other times of the year, so you will need to be prepared with appropriate clothing and gear.
  2. Slippery conditions, Snow and ice can make trails slippery and potentially dangerous.
  3. Limited daylight,  In winter, the days are shorter, which means you may have less time to hike.
  4. Limited access, Some trails may be closed or inaccessible due to snow or other winter conditions.
